Todays tech tip Friday is all about brushing off the little things that can come along during season. I've had it happen several times over the years when walking in and bumping deer or having a doe blow at me. Its ok!! Its never the end of the world specially during the rut. Its going to happen, dont let it discourage you. Keep moving forward with your plan, most of the time we're not in there to kill these does anyway and more deer will be showing up later during the morning. I think its a natural thing that occurs anyway, deer blow at Bobcats or Coyotes when they see them. It doesn't mean your hunt is ruined just keep a positive attitude and brush it off. Hope this one helps some of you guys. I know ive been guilty in the past of thinking my morning was a bust only to have a good deer come in shortly after sun up. Matter of fact it happened to me on my latest buck.

Todays tech tip Friday is short, sweet, and simple.
Dont be lazy!! Make it a point to go out of your way to create the best access and exits possible for your stand locations. It may sound redundant, but make sure you dont take your foot off the gas. Dont be afraid of a little harder work to make your getting in and out undetected. I can promise this will make your season more successful!

In this episode we sit down with Iowa hunter and land manager Greg Sieck to cut through the noise and get real about public ground. Greg breaks down what makes a great piece of land versus a dead zone, his go-to food plots, and the harsh gap between non-resident dreams and hunting reality. We cover the most common mistakes outsiders make, lessons learned from years of land management, and why public land success isn’t about luck, it’s about hard truths, smart decisions, and relentless effort.

In this episode, im joined by Heath Cisco of Whitetail Addictions. A dedicated family man and diehard hunter who’s built his life around both the woods and what matters most at home. We dive deep into hunting efficiency, the discipline of knowing when to move in for the kill, and why family should always remain the #1 priority. Heath shares his perspective on the current state of hunting in Ohio, whether we’ve already passed the best years and what the future may hold for passionate whitetail hunters.
