Please join us for the viewing of this extraordinary documentary by one of our first Storytellers, Filmmaker Beth Lane Lane (The Advocacy Issue 2022) on April 29th at Patriot Cinemas at The Hingham Shipyard!
Beth is the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, and documents her international quest to uncover answers about the plight of her mother and her siblings who, as mere children, escaped N**i Germany relying solely on their youthful bravado and the kindness of German strangers.
“UnBroken” debuted to numerous awards, including Best Documentary Premiere at Heartland Int’l Film Festival, Audience Choice Best Doc at Julien Dubuque Int’l Film Festival, Audience Choice Best Documentary at River Run Int’l Film Festival, Best First Time Filmmaker at Hot Springs Women’s Int’l Film Festival, Audience Choice Best Documentary at Berkshire Int’l Film Festival, Madelyn’s Choice Award at Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Festival, and Runner Up Audience Choice Best Documentary at Orcas Island Film Festival.
“UnBroken” is the inaugural project of THE WEBER FAMILY ARTS FOUNDATION and this screening is sponsored by Norwell Family Dentistry, Congregation Sha'aray Shalom, Congregation Shirat Hayam, Duxbury for All, South SHore Unity Council, and Hingham Unity Council.
Beth will take a seat in the Pink Chair after the film to answer questions from the audience! Visit the link in our bio to purchase tickets or visit PinkChairStorytellers.com/events.
