The first Code 8 installment introduced us to a compelling take on the superhero genre with interesting narratives and characters, blending the gritty realism and thought-provoking themes to bring about a new engaging take in the world of superheroes. However the second part threw all of that achievement out the window by pushing the main characters to the side in the new story.

A number of reasons brought Civil War to being a disappointing experience. From the promised action-packed spectacle by the trailers to the aspects it brushed through about war, loss, the human action and reaction in times of conflict, and the ethicality of war correspondents, but never dived into exploring them deeper to bring about a solid conclusion for them, merely mentioning them as headlines and addressing them from a safe distance.

Saw X was meant to continue the story of John Kramer in his earlier years of being the infamous Jigsaw, as he works with his accomplices Amanda and Detective Hoffman. However the narrative of this installment created more confusing aspects within the already established story of John and Amanda's arcs, making them significantly different to how they were known in the earlier Saw movies 🎥

The Expendables franchise was one of the most electrifying franchises that brought action enthusiasts together in the big screen to see their favorite action stars return to their powerful glory days with explosive scenes and hardcore action fights. Despite the franchise getting weaker with each coming part, the first three parts were enough for movie fans to enjoy and return to watch many times again. However the fourth film ended up sinking the whole franchise to the lowest points, disregarding everything that made the first three popular.
