If you're into gaming there is a good chance that you've been seeing posts about the Michigan GT. If you've attended in the past, we thank you greatly, you're one of the reasons the event has become such a success over the past decade.
If you haven't attended, you're probably wondering what the heck is the Michigan GT?
The Michigan GT (GT is for Grand Tournaments) is a collection of miniature wargaming events that happens one weekend per year in Lansing, Michigan. This is our tenth year hosting, the event and this year it will be held 9/30/22-10/2/22.
While the event was born as a gaming competition between peers, it has become much more than that. While we do still have plenty of competitive events, we have grown in many directions, adding various narrative events and even miniature painting classes, our guest instructor this year is The Dave Taylor (https://davetaylorminiatures.com/)!
We also have a nice vendor hall with 8 vendors. Vendors range from some Friendly Local Game Stores, in AFK Games, Acropolis Games and Michigan Toy Soldier to games publishers and manufacturers, Warlord Games, RedGrass Games, Gaddis Gaming, Mantic Games, Para Bellum Games, and Elrik's Hobbies.
The vendor hall is free to shop in and there's some demo games to try out while you check out the event.
The Michigan GT is an event friendly to all levels of gamers, from those just getting into the hobby to the grizzled veterans out there. It's a great place to meet new friends and if you've been gaming for a while, a great place to catch up with old ones.
