We have a new addition to the Dukester universe.

The Dukester Album Index is now live.

What started as a few album rankings has grown into something much bigger. The Album Index will be the home for all time album charts, current album rankings, genre deep dives, music history projects, and curated playlist series from across Dukester Entertainment.

That includes public projects like HITDSTRKT, along with the growing collection of Album Index charts covering Rock, Hard Rock, Metal, Grunge, Hair Metal, Nu Metal, Industrial Metal, Metalcore, Alternative Metal, Gothic and Symphonic Metal, Power Metal, and more.

We have been going through hundreds of albums, sorting out genre overlap, rebuilding rankings, and making sure each album lands where it actually belongs.

The first full all time chart we will release is Rock.

Hard Rock comes next.

Then Metal.

After that, we will keep working our way through the different scenes, eras, and genres.

If you like album rankings, music history, playlist digging, and arguing about what should be higher or lower, this page is going to be for you.

The Dukester Album Index combines critical response, listener response, streaming activity and current album sales to build the ranking. Albums must also be available on Spotify to qualify.

This chart will be updated every two weeks, giving new releases a chance to enter while letting us track which albums are gaining ground, falling back or holding strong.

We didn’t sell out. We’re growing.

When Dukester started building all of this, indie music was a huge part of the vision, and it still is. We love discovering artists that deserve more attention and finding ways to help get their music in front of new listeners.

But over time, we realized Dukester should also reflect more of who we are as music fans.

Dukester didn’t grow up listening to just one genre. His love of music comes from decades of rock, country, metal, hip hop, R&B, punk, alternative, and everything in between. Some of it is brand new. Some of it takes us back to a certain year, a certain place, or a certain part of our life.

So the expansion you’re seeing is personal.

We want to build something that celebrates all of that music while still giving independent artists a place in the conversation.

And there’s another reason for expanding.

If we want indie artists to reach more people, we have to bring more people into what we’re building. Maybe someone comes for a playlist filled with songs they grew up with. Maybe they find one of our charts. Maybe they come because they love country, metal, rock, or hip hop.

Then somewhere along the way, they hear an independent artist they never would have found otherwise.

That’s the idea.

The mission hasn’t changed. We're just building a bigger world around it.

We’re not leaving indie music behind.

Introducing The Mainstream Pulse.

The Mainstream Pulse is our new weekly All Genre Top 40, built to show what music is making the biggest impact right now.

Instead of relying on a single chart, we combine performance across Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, radio and digital sales to create one overall ranking covering every genre.

Country. Rock. Metal. Pop. Hip hop. R&B. Latin. Everything is eligible.

And there is no release date cutoff. If an older song suddenly becomes one of the biggest songs in the country again, it belongs here too. The goal is simple: rank the music people are actually listening to right now.
