I took a 2 hr drive to to check out as my friend told me about their exhibit a year ago. And I definitely was not disappointed.

It's a weekend (Sat. and Sun.) open in two buildings. During special occasions they open on Friday evenings for a block party. This Halloween night is the last night for a lot of these exhibits. Edit from LR: "Halloween decor and Betelgeuse up until 5pm on Sunday, November 2nd"

It's all free, photo ops are encouraged, and they also have vintage, antique, and new items for sale. Prices are reasonable from almost all of the vendors. Nothing made me gasp at any of the prices. I thought that would be a definite Halloween scare for me.

They have more than Beetlejuice. The Golden Girls is a lot of fun too for those not into scary.

They have different exhibits throughout the year and a wonderful shopping experience. It's one of the nicest flea markets I've visited in a long time.

We're getting close to Halloween, and if you haven't already done a few of the trunk-or-treats around town, you might still want candy for the little ones, and for a couple of the big ones.
We created a roundup of candy pricing for a few stores, National, and Local in Louisiana.
5 Below, Breaux Mart, Dollar Tree, Rouses, Target, and Walmart.

If you live in the area, or attend or you may already be familiar with
They're one of those shops but with a twist.
I ordered a po-boy and a bag of chips that ran me less than $13 and lasted for two meals. Huge meatballs sure to fill you up.
I also stopped in once before and got their popular BBQ Pork on french bread that was absolutely delish. That was another meal that filled me up for Lunch and then leftovers for Dinner.
They have a few places to sit if you don't want to grab and go. They also serve cold drinks. Amongst a few other things you might need.
They're in a hidden pocket near the . There's street parking usually available.
I hear they have some of the best in the city that's only served on Saturdays. 🤤

They're open on the weekend and free to enter. They sell alcohol and food.
