Yesterday, we were on the streets of Abuja,not in protest, but in purpose.

The Youth Creative Conference is near, and we took the message straight to the heart of our community through a road walk focused on our theme: Silencing the Guns.

This isn’t just a campaign,it’s a movement aligned with the African Union’s Peace and Security Agenda 2030, which envisions a continent free from war, violence, and fear.

Africa’s youth are not just the future,we are the force that will shape it. One step at a time, we walk toward peace. One voice at a time, we silence the guns.

I had the privilege to attend the project launch of “Sex and Reproductive Health (SRH) and the Distribution of Sanitary Pads in Liberian Schools. As a girls/women speak ambassador , I am truly inspired to see the government taking such a vital step in supporting menstrual hygiene for girls in ECOWAS member states.

This project resonates deeply with me, as I too am committed to addressing menstrual health challenges in my home country, Nigeria. As a humanitarian, I believe that ensuring access to sanitary products and education on menstrual health is essential in empowering young girls, helping them stay in school, and ultimately breaking the cycle of poverty. I am particularly impressed by the alignment of this project with the global environmental goals, hence the decision to distribute “REUSABLE SANITARY PADS”
Congratulations to her Excellency : Amb. Josephine Nkrumah , the ECOWAS Ambassador to Liberia and the Entire people of Liberia on the launch of this great initiative. 🇱🇷
