our story
As a homeschooling family originally from South Africa, our home library was the beating heart of our home.
Books have always been a passion of mine. I love everything about them, the new book smell, the feel of a well bound spine, rich content and beautiful illustrations. Give me a book with a satin ribbon down the middle and you will have made a friend for life. Usborne are all of that.
I collected over 5000 books over the years, my favourites were always the Usborne Books. Most of our books had to be sold or given away when we emigrated. As heartbreaking as it was to say goodbye to a 13 year book collection, I was really excited to sign up as an independent Usborne organiser in Ireland. This opportunity is not available to residents in South Africa. I now have the beginning of a new wonderful home library, I get to work from home, I get discounts and free books while I restock our home library with our Usborne favourites. At the same time, I get to share my knowledge and passion about these fabulous treasures with all of you. This is something that anybody can do, whether it is to just finance your own book purchases, or to help you save for something like a family holiday, or even as a full time career.
