"2+2=4 "

Brian Roessler & Nathan Hanson : contrebasse et saxophones (Minnesota)
Mirtha Pozzi & Pablo Cueco : percussions et zarb (Uruguay & Corrèze)

Ce quartet est composé de deux musiciens de Minneapolis-St Paul, Nathan Hanson aux saxophones et Brian Roessler à la contrebasse, et d'autre part Mirtha Pozzi aux percussions diverses et Pablo Cueco au zarb et à l'électroacoustique.

C'est de "l'impro de chambre" assez pacifique, qui ne refuse ni la préméditation, ni les écritures...

Au départ, ce projet est issu de la rencontre de deux duos qui existent depuis longtemps. Le nom du quartet est donc : "2+2=4".

La première rencontre a eu lieu au festival Minnesota sur Seine en 2009, la seconde à Paris à l'automne 2011... La musique et l'accueil du public nous ont amené à programmer une tournée en France et l'enregistrement d'un disque.
