Nike // Faster Than Instinct 🐆

Created entirely with AI.

For this one, I wanted to explore the visual parallels between Mbappé and a cheetah, two embodiments of speed.

From there, the concept evolved into a study of contrast and connection: isolating their movements, then merging them through shifts in pace, framing, and sound design.

I’m really pleased with how it came together; the rapid changes in composition create a frantic yet controlled momentum that carries the energy from start to finish, reinforcing the core idea behind it all: Faster Than Instinct.

I’m excited to keep building on this style. Sport, and football especially, has always been my favourite subject matter to work with. As a kid, I’d spend hours coming up with my own football adverts, so being able to use AI now to bring those ideas to life as polished teasers is something very satisfying.

The possibilities feel endless, and I enjoy leaning into the process, discovering those curve ball ideas that AI throws at you along the way.

Sora 2 and Veo 3.1 mark huge developments to video generation, but I have to say that Kling is probably still my favourite model based upon the reliability of the results I get. Would be interested to see what others think?

Here’s a breakdown of my process for the Phantom 6 teaser featuring Erling Haaland.

A mix of tools and platforms involved in the making of this, but there was definitely a method to the madness. I know I’ve already said it a few times now, but Nano Banana and Seedream 4 really are a lethal combination. 9 times out of 10, I find that I’m able to work things out between them to get a shot that I’m happy with.

This isn’t a real Nike advert.
I built it with AI. Here’s how…

Step 1 - The visual metaphor.

In my case, the boot became the anchor.
The Phantom 6.
The boot features a coloured gradient shifting from icy blue to fiery red.

A symbol of Haaland himself.
Ice cold composure. Explosive instinct.

That duality framed him as the eye of the storm. Calm at the centre, chaos all around.

It also determined the colour palette, cinematography and deliberate interplay between stillness and chaos.

Step 2 - Engineer the likeness.

This is where a good workflow is key.
I didn’t just run one model.
I ran multiple, in sequence, often repeatedly.

Nano Banana gave me context.
Think light, motion, scale.

Whereas Seedream 4 was superior when dealing with Haaland’s likeness, as well as the overall prompt adherence.

Step 3 - Systemize the build.

I used node-based workflow to iterate fast. Every stage broken down, every test repeatable.

That meant I could refine, lock the style, and scale the vision without starting over.

This isn’t about faking Nike.
It’s about the ability to build at that level with story, models and a reliable workflow.

Phantom 🌪️

Six weeks into going full-time as an AI creator. It’s been busy, challenging, but absolutely the right move.

For this video, I stripped everything back. No briefs, no limits; just imagination, process, and AI. It felt so good to step out of the busy schedule for a couple days and just let my creativity lead.

The concept: Haaland as the eye of the storm. Calm at the centre, chaos all around. His signature Nike Phantom 6 football boot becomes the symbol, its colours shifting from icy blue to fiery red and yellow, reflecting both his cold composure and explosive instinct.

I found Nano Banana and Seedream 4 to be a killer combination when it comes to working on a concept like this. Once coupled with the various Kling models, and Google’s Veo 3, everything came to life really well.

Let me know if you want to see the breakdown!

This isn’t a real Rhode ad.
But it could be…in just minutes.
Using a single text prompt.

That’s the power of invideo.

In an AI world, consistent storytelling matters. Brands should use AI as an extension of who they already are, embracing new tools while staying true to their audience.

If you’re serious about brand storytelling and want to execute with AI at a high-level, invideo levels the playing field.

Honestly, it blew my mind.

Want to try it out for yourself, comment “invideo” and I’ll send you the link.

Most people test AI tools by asking “does this look good?”

Wrong question.

The real test is: does this workflow actually work for you?

If it saves you time, delivers consistent results, and fits into your process without breaking everything, that’s when you know you’ve built something solid.

AI isn’t about chasing random outputs.
It’s about building systems you can rely on.

I struggle with imposter syndrome too.

Every new tool, every workflow shift, comes with an added pressure to keep up.

But AI is built on experimentation, and the more comfortable I get with that, the less those doubts stick.

So for anyone else feeling the same way, keep pushing. The trick is remembering that your system doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s. It just needs to work for you.

💙

Comment “No more imposter” and I’ll treat you to a prompt.
