Protecting Our Babies. Reclaiming Our Narrative.
In light of recent media coverage that sensationalizes tragedy instead of seeking truth, we are calling an emergency community meeting to stand for the safety, dignity, and future of our children. Too often, our babies become headlines instead of being protected — and the stories told about them lack the compassion and accountability our communities deserve.
We refuse to allow narratives rooted in bias, neglect, and exploitation to define who our children are or who we are as a people. This meeting is about more than outrage — it’s about collective responsibility, healing, and action. We must confront how systemic neglect and unequal treatment continue to criminalize the symptoms of deeper community pain.
Join us as we reclaim our voice, protect our babies, and demand the systems built around us do better — because they should have been protected long before now.

Overview

Rhythm to Reform is more than a concert — it’s a movement. Curated by Joi Tate, iFilm Student & Coordinating Producer at iFilm 216, in partnership with Grammy-winning artist Dame Drummer, this event merges music, and advocacy to confront one of Cleveland’s most urgent issues: gun violence.

The evening will feature a powerful live performance by Dame Drummer, known for his socially conscious music and deeply emotional storytelling. His performance will highlight themes of unity, healing, and justice — inspiring the audience to reflect, engage, and act.

Special Feature

Guest Speaker: Administrator of the Cuyahoga County Office of Violence Prevention, will deliver an impactful message on her mission to eradicate gun violence and strengthen community collaboration across Cleveland.

Purpose

This event seeks to:
• Spark meaningful dialogue around gun violence prevention.
• Amplify voices of those working for peace and reform in our communities.
• Use music and art as vehicles for social change.
• Generate tangible impact — 10% of all proceeds will be donated to a local grassroots organization dedicated to stopping gun violence.
