20 years ago, on Dec. 10 2005, Coach Henderson and I went head to head in the CIF Championship game as respectful adversaries.

As funny as life can get in the world of high school football, this is one for the books.

Today, I am honored to walk into this CIF Finals game with my brother from another mother as we ask for God’s blessings on a championship together! Go Eagles!

🦃🍁🍂Happy Thanksgiving from TFNL! It’s always a privilege and an honor when I get to coach on Thanksgiving morning! This is what every coach wants! We are headed for the Championships tomorrow! And it has been a wonderful season coaching alongside my brother .henderson.5015 as he leads our team tomorrow evening! This season has been a blessed one! So much work, preparation from all the coaches and players to get to this moment! Thankful and Grateful!

These two Coaches right here are making some coaching career memories together! Those that know them, know that they were at one time coaching rivals but always friends with an enormous amount of respect for each other. Flash forward to 2022 when .henderson.5015 recruits up here to Immanuel as a fellow football coach and the Athletic Director. This was one of the things they talked about doing… Winning the Boot Back in the “Battle of the Boot game against CVC! Last night the Eagles did it with a 37 to 0 Victory!! These moments right here are what matters! It’s amazing that they are doing this together under the Friday Night Lights!

🏈Finally got a picture with my two favorite guys tonight! Eagles came out with a win! Couldn’t tell you the score because the power went out and I lost count on touchdowns made!
Either way the Season is just beginning and God ain’t done!
