I can see a million reasons why Jeremy Hunt should offer relief to hard-pressed taxpayers. The UK’s tax burden is at a 70-year high, which is not supposed to happen under a Tory government. Especially one that's been in power for 13 years. Freezing the income tax thresholds all the way to 2028 is brutal. More than a million Britons on low incomes, many of them cash-strapped pensioners, will pay basic rate income tax for the first time as a result....

A 6-month-old Indiana boy was nearly eaten alive by rats that bit him more than 50 times while he slept in his crib last week. The boy’s parents, David and Angel Schonabaum, were arrested and charged with child neglect after they awoke to find their infant son drenched in blood last Wednesday, 14News reported.
