✈️ SECURITY INCIDENT AT RONALDSWAY AIRPORT RESOLVED

A security incident at Ronaldsway Airport this afternoon (Friday 2 October) has been resolved, with passengers on four flights affected.

Isle of Man Airport says there was a short security incident involving an individual, which resulted in all passengers being re-screened as a precaution.

The additional checks caused delays to some departing flights.

Reports to Manx Radio said passengers from four flights had to return through security after one person allegedly missed a swab call. One passenger claimed around 60–70% of people were being swabbed.

The airport has not confirmed that anyone bypassed security or provided further details about exactly what happened.

The airport has apologised to passengers affected and thanked them for their patience.

📍 Isle of Red TV will bring you further updates if more information is released.
