We’ve wanted to explore other genres for a while, to show that our work within music films isn’t limited to just metal. So when TODD reached out, the choice was clear.

Lighting was essential to this project. We put a lot of effort into fine-tuning the setup for every shot—and it really paid off.

Great! Read it again.

The intro was lit with studio lighting, and was the only planned segment in the film. Other than that, every shot we sent Situationsfornærmelse was completely unplanned B-roll.

How do you shoot your own music video when you're supposed to be on stage?

We worked with Situationsfornærmelse with live videography and docu style backstage videography, of the band having fun and exploring the surroundings of "Loppen" the venue they played that night. Dines, their multitalented guitarist who doubles as a editor and colourist, then took over the post production, and made the final deliverable.
