To my lovely Homebrew Crew, sorry for the recent radio silence. I really feel like I’ve been out of the loop - it’s been nearly 4 months since the last show - What have I been missing musically ? I need to dive back into the indie Electronica ocean. Things have been tough, so please friends, if you can, send me a barrage of bangers to help steer me onto the road to recovery, and some kind of new normal ❤️Music Is Life ❤️ Thanks for all your support and patience - Now lets get ready to crank it back up, and rip the k**b clean off !

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to all in the Indie Electronica and EMOM communities that have sent me messages since I lost Melissa. Your kindness and support has helped me through my darkest ever days 🙏 I know this is a big ask, but if anyone could visit her memorial page https://melissagrosvenor.muchloved.com/ and make a small donation to Kidney Care UK that would be absolutely amazing, and I would be forever in your debt. I know first hand how tough and cruel kidney disease can be, and Kidney Care do great work supporting people who live with it.
Moving forward, the wonderful folks at Mad Wasp Radio will be holding the show’s slot open for me and will be running Homebrew Electronica repeats on the first Wednesday of each month until September, when I’ll be back, with your awesome tunes ……Better, and louder than ever ! ❤️ Kev

Following the recent sudden passing of my lovely wife & soulmate Melissa, the Homebrew Electronica Show will be taking a break, returning in August or September. I suppose you could call Melissa the unseen and unheard driving force behind the show. The fuel that feeds the fire. In all honesty she was not the biggest fan of electronic music at all, but she was always encouraging me, always believing in me when I lacked confidence in the way I sounded as a total podcast & radio amateur , and so proud of me and the show’s charity raising antics. The music may not have been her bag, but she loved coming out to the EMOMs with me also , just to meet everybody and chat.
I’m going to miss having her chuck the nearest item to hand at me with some velocity every time I put my headphones on and started tapping to the music when recording the show! That was her pet hate. For someone with such bad eyes though,she was a great shot 🙂❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ / Kev
