Calling all Editors! ✂️🎞️🎬

Bus Stop Films’ new Inclusion in Action micro workshops are your chance to build confidence in supporting people with disabilities in your team.
These fast and free online sessions, co-designed by industry experts and people with disability offer time-poor creatives easy access to resources across the area of Editing.

Meet your presenters:
Julian Neuhaus is an Editor across TV, Film and Advertising.
Joel Allen is an emerging Editor and Bus Stop Employment Member.

These virtual sessions will be held on Monday 5th May:
9.00am- 9.30am (AEST Sydney Time)
1.00pm – 1.30pm (AEST Sydney Time)
4.00pm – 4.30pm (AEST Sydney Time)

Due to all the interstate travel we've been doing, we've decided to enter the aviation industry with our new venture, Ironbark Air: the airline for filmmakers! Gone are the days cramming equipment into pelican cases and hoping for the best, as the entire travelling process has been redesigned with film production in mind, meeting the clear demand for an airline that caters to the unique needs of filmmakers and creatives.

We like to think of ourselves as a one-stop-shop for all things content creation and film production. From pre-production planning, right through to delivery, we want to be involved in bringing your story to life.

We produce all sorts of content, including short films, documentaries, music videos, event videos, brand films, advertisements, social media clips, for all platforms from social media to cinema. Whether you would like us to work on a particular part of your production, or produce the whole thing, whatever it is, and whatever platform you are delivering to, we would love the opportunity to help you tell your story.

Have a bunch of footage you want to cut together in a meaningful way? Perhaps you are stuck with a project that just isn’t cutting together as you expected. We would love to work on it! Our clients often return because of our seamless and efficient post-production workflow, which offers on the spot changes and fast turnarounds, not to mention delivery in stunning HDR formats. Our mentality to editing advocates for a ‘less is more’ approach that results in highly engaging content.

We want to show, rather than just tell your story. On any given project, we will be looking for ways to express something visually, and cut right through all the noise with a bold, unadorned, and clear message. Not all content can be delivered with sound, especially on social media or when the viewer has the mute button on. For us, cinematography is a key focus.

Everyone should be able to enjoy your content, which is why we offer closed captioning services for all of our projects, and it is free for all content under five minutes, which we think is just marvellous! We deliver captions either as a separate file, or we can burn it into the content itself, depending on what works best for you and your delivery platform.

Nothing beats a film that has original music, composed just for it, synchronised with every beat, and every frame. Music can heighten the audience’s connection to the story, or even convey a deeper meaning. We pride ourselves in offering original music with our wonderful composer, which can really drive the message home in a truely authentic way.
