I’ve lived in Mumbai for about 4 years now.
And when I finally decided to explore the city — first it felt like “not so bad,” then “okay, this is good,” and now it’s like… “man, I love this city! Why didn’t I feel this way before?”
Yesterday, the weather was just perfect, so I stepped out.
A window seat on the bus, riding by the beach — it felt complete.
Mumbai meri jaan. ❤️

Visited Meghalaya during winter. Ideally, not the best time—agreed. But still, the place didn’t fail to surprise me. Everywhere we went gave that “wow” feeling throughout.

As for why we chose winter—it was to see the cherry blossoms. Unfortunately, we missed them. But apart from that, we did all the touristy things like visiting Cherrapunji, Dawki, local markets, and trying local food.

If you’re planning to visit, I would highly recommend the monsoon season—that’s when the place is at its absolute best.
