Tonight's show is without me, due to technical difficulties and time restraints, but I've put together a lovely selection of music for you this week to enjoy.
Exactly 50 years ago today Bohemian Rhapsody was released and it spent 9 weeks at number one in the UK. The B side of the UK issue was "I'm In Love With My Car", in Poland it was "Death On Two Legs" and in Turkey it was "Sweet Lady". It was re-released as a double A side with "These Are The Days Of Our Lives" in 1991 when Freddie died, when it went back to number one for 5 weeks. Both releases were Xmas number ones.
It's the UK's third best selling single of all time. It's appeared in the film Wayne's World. In 2004 Bo Rhap was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. In 2012 it came first place in the ITV Nationwide Poll for the Nation's favourite Number One over 60 years of music.
I'll be playing it on the show tonight and Brian and Roger will be saying a few words about it too.

Today's show is without me, I'm so sorry, the internet today is unstable and instead of recording half a show I'd rather just give you the music. I just threw tonight's show together and I noticed there were a lot of Brian May songs... well he is my favourite songwriter in the band 🎸💙 We have a Roger solo, a Brian collaboration and lots of other lovely songs and rocky numbers. And the lads are back 😄
