You may recognize one of our guests on the newest episode, Caroline Herbster, artist and founder of Rising Tide Art Studio (go check out Episode 55 for her interview).

We also have special guests Chris and Lisa Herbster, Caroline and Brian's amazing parents. Today, we are sharing the beautiful life and story of their son, Brian Herbster, who recently passed away after a battle with a rare form of aggressive cancer called Ewings Sarcoma. Brian navigated their diagnosis with courage, determination and grace (see Goose the Band's post from 3/12/26).

Join us as we share stories of music, art and the love of live music that Chris and Lisa instilled in their children at a very young age. Open till March 18th, Goose the Band has a t-shirt in their store (www.store.goosetheband.com) where the proceeds from the sale of this beautiflly designed t-shirt by Caroline will go to Ewings Sarcoma research.

The family also set up a GoFundMe in honor of Brian's love for sailing. Please visit https://gofund.me/a4947ce65. They are raising seed money to create the Brian E. Herbster Youth Sailing Fund, in memory of Brian's passion for sailing and coaching youth sailors of all ages and levels. We hope this story of live and love for Brian gives you hope in tough times, and know that through music and love, all things are possible.
