Fr. Poirrier is originally from Scott, LA. Fun fact: he has an identical twin! Fr. Poirier grew up in a very close-knit family. He played football growing up and for the Acadiana Rams. Fr. Michael passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at his residence on Mowata, LA.
Fr. Michael was a member of the Society of the Divine Word, a religious missionary congregation. He was serving as the Pastor of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Mowata.
Sean is originally from Abbeville, LA. He attended Vermilion Catholic High School followed by UL for college. He worked in radio through high school and college and is now a broadcaster.
