Fr. Poirrier is originally from Scott, LA. Fun fact: he has an identical twin! Fr. Poirier grew up in a very close-knit family. He played football growing up and for the Acadiana Rams. His love for the Lord really began to grow deeper in highschool. Tune in to hear about his faith journey and his call to the Priesthood.
Fr. Michael passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at his residence on Mowata, LA.
Fr. Michael was a member of the Society of the Divine Word, a religious missionary congregation. He was serving as the Pastor of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Mowata.
Sean is originally from Abbeville, LA. He attended Vermilion Catholic High School followed by UL for college. He worked in radio through high school and college and is now a broadcaster. He is married and has three children: Maddy, Jacob, and Eli. Tune in to get to know a family man after God’s own heart.
