Good morning Franklin County. I hope everyone is having a great start to their day. Here is that forecast for today and tonight. Today, there will be a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 70. North wind 10 to 15 mph. Tonight, a slight chance of showers between 11pm and 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55. North wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%. Fun fact Friday is back. Thunder doesn’t just come after lightning, it is caused by lightning.
One of the more fascinating weather facts: Thunder is produced when lightning “slices” air pressure in the atmosphere. When lightning retracts, the colliding air pressure rushing back together creates the “clap” noise we are familiar with. Have a great rest of the day and god bless y’all!

Today, a slight chance of freezing drizzle and sleet before noon, then a slight chance of sleet. Cloudy and cold, with a high near 24. Wind chill values as low as 9. North wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%. Tonight, freezing rain and sleet before 5am, then freezing rain and sleet, possibly mixed with snow. Low around 18. Wind chill values as low as 9. North wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Good evening Franklin County. There is a lot to discuss with the winter weather chances moving into the area. The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for us starting tomorrow at noon until Monday evening at 6pm. We are also under a hard freeze warning and wind chill advisory as well. Good morning Franklin County! I hope everyone is having a great start to the today. Here is the forecast for us today and tonight. Today, there will be areas of frost before 10am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 59. West wind around 5 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Tonight, there will be patchy frost after midnight. Otherwise, clear, with a low around 37. South wind 5 to 10 mph.

Good afternoon Franklin County. I’m sorry it’s been awhile but we are back with the forecast. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Here is that forecast for today and tonight. This Afternoon, sunny with a high near 52. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Tonight, patchy frost after 11pm. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. Good morning Franklin County! I hope everyone is having a great start to their weekend. Today will be mostly sunny with a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms and a high of 84.
