🇵🇾 El martes 12 de julio a las 15:00 horas damos inicio a una serie de talleres en torno a las técnicas utilizadas por el artista paraguayo Andrés Campos Cervera cuyas obras están expuestas en el Museo Colección Julián de la Herrería, en el cual se puede apreciar que una de las técnicas más utilizadas por Julíán es la cuerda seca. Para iniciar el taller contaremos con una ponencia a cargo de la curadora del Museo Colección Julián de las Herrería y de la exposición Entre hombres y dioses, María Blanco sobre Julián y la cuerda seca. Luego de esta ponencia, el maestro artesano Héctor Sánchez dará inicio al taller. Don Héctor es oriundo de la ciudad de Areguá. y es de la tercera generación de artesanos de su familia, siguiendo los pasos de su padre y de su abuelo, en el arte del esmaltado. Es el único restante de su generación en trabajar la técnica de “cuerda seca”, creando diseños y objetos de arte tan distintivos.
🇩🇪 Am Dienstag, den 12. Juli um 15.00 Uhr beginnen wir eine Reihe von Workshops zu den Techniken des paraguayischen Künstlers Andrés Campos Cervera, dessen Werke im Museo Colección Julián de la Herrería ausgestellt sind. Dabei können wir sehen, dass eine der von Julián am häufigsten verwendeten Techniken die cuerda seca ist. Der Workshop beginnt mit einem Vortrag der Kuratorin des Museo Colección Julián de las Herrería und der Ausstellung Zwischen Menschen und Göttern, María Blanco, über Julián und die Cuerda seca. Nach dieser Präsentation wird der Handwerksmeister Héctor Sánchez mit dem Workshop beginnen. Don Héctor stammt aus der Stadt Areguá und ist die dritte Generation von Kunsthandwerkern in seiner Familie, die in der Kunst des Emaillierens in die Fußstapfen seines Vaters und Großvaters getreten ist. Er ist der einzige seiner Generation, der die "cuerda seca"-Technik anwendet und so unverwechselbare Designs und Kunstobjekte schafft.
🇬🇧 On Tuesday, July 12 at 3:00 p.m. we begin a series of workshops on the techniques used by the Paraguayan artist Andrés Campos Cervera, whose works are exhibited at the Museo Colección Julián de la Herrería, in which we can see that one of the techniques most used by Julián is dry rope. To begin the workshop we will have a presentation by the curator of the Museo Colección Julián de las Herrería and of the exhibition Between Men and Gods, María Blanco, about Julián and dry rope. After this presentation, master craftsman Héctor Sánchez will start the workshop. Don Héctor is a native of the city of Areguá and is the third generation of artisans in his family, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather in the art of enameling. He is the only one remaining of his generation to work the "cuerda seca" technique, creating such distinctive designs and art objects.
