please....continue to blame the current administration for the reckless idiocy of the past administration. This is classic GOP MO. Inflate the economy, cut taxes for the wealthy, create huge mess right before end of term.
Democrat's MO is pretty much re-stabilize the economy and clean up the Foreign relation messes created by the republicans. This prevents the democrats from following through with any of the progressive/social advancements they may have wanted to establish while in office because they are constantly fixing the messes created by the Republicans.
Who would the simple mind of a child perceive as the bad/good guy....The fun drunk uncle who gives them candy before he leaves to go home, or the parent who takes the treat away and then distributes it to them at the appropriate time as to not keep them bouncing off the walls all night.
Republicans continuously vote against unions, Medicaid, raising the minimum wage, unemployment insurance, and jobs bills that would put people to work, and are continuously re-elected.
They obviously have the support of corporate donors who want to keep unemployment high and workers insecure because a docile working class helps their bottom lines.
The best defense against corporate irresponsibility is a growing middle class. But in order to summon the political will to achieve it, we have to overcome the timidity that flows from economic desperation. It’s a diabolical chicken-and-egg conundrum. Meanwhile corporate created partisan politics continues to destroy our country.
