This year hasn’t gone how I thought it might.
It’s been heavy. Holy. Heartbreaking.
It’s held deep grief, slow healing, unexpected beauty, and moments that have changed me forever.
I lost my brother this spring.
There aren’t really words for what that kind of loss does to your heart—but I’m learning to carry it day by day, sometimes moment by moment.
This isn’t a highlight reel.
This is just me—still standing, still showing up, still believing that even in the ache, there is goodness to be found.
If this year has stretched you, broken something inside you, or made you feel like you’re walking through it alone… I hope this space reminds you that you’re not.
We were never meant to carry our stories in silence.
This is part of mine.
I’m thankful for the time we had in Panama 🇵🇦 to bury my brother, to share memories and grieve with those who loved him too.
I’m thankful for family and friends who have held us up through prayer.
God has carried my broken heart so tenderly and so beautifully.
