Above average temperatures are expected to continue through mid-August in South Texas according to the Climate Prediction Center. Moderate to Major risk of heat-related impacts are expected throughout the next 6-10 days. Remember to drink plenty of water and know the signs of heat illness!

It was a fairly rainy month across South Texas! The Victoria Crossroads in particular saw some very beneficial rains. Much of the area saw above normal rainfall. Note that numbers on these maps are estimates from the analysis, and not necessarily the exact totals received at each location.
