Good day and happy Sunday! We have another very warm and humid day, with scattered thundery showers.

The Met Office model below has the showers fairly scattered, with sunny moments in-between.

The areas most likely to have thunder are indicted below.

Top temperatures of 23 or 24 in Scotland, warmest in SW Scotland; 21 - 26C for England and Wales; 21C for Northern Ireland.

UV is high, however pollen is low, due to the rainfall.

We have showery week ahead, staying warm with thunderstorms in places. Mixed in the NW. It should settled down by next weekend.

Have a great day and thanks so much for tuning into the weather window!

Good morning and happy Saturday.

We have a batch of thunderstorms affecting the East of Scotland this morning, running north.

We have heavy rain in the south, moving north, which could be thundery at times.

Showers and/or thunderstorms will migrate north today. It's very wet in the south and a lot less warm due to the cloud and rain.

Temperatures: 20 - 24C for most of us today, feeling rather humid.

It's warmer for most tomorrow, with sunshine and showers, perhaps quite thundery in places. Hope that you have a great day, Jason's Weather Window☀️⚡️🌦🌩

Good day to you. Any plans coming up that you would like to know the weather trends for? Give me the location and date and I will try give you a rough forecast. It's quite changeable at the moment, but I'm sure I can give you an idea. I will revisit this most over the coming days. Thanks so much and have a great day, Jason's Weather Window ☁️🌦🌤☀️

Good morning! I'm reading a lot of doom and glom, with regards to our weather pattern at the moment; is it correct?

I've been keeping quite this week, waiting on further updates. The ECMWF has updated this morning here are the charts running into the first few weeks of August.

It's fair to say we have mixed weather, however the sun is shinning on most days and it's very warm or locally hot. The south will get rain and it should give the gardens a good drink. I think we continue to see fluctuations between the low to the north and high to the south and west.

I still see good days in there next week, the following two weeks look to become more settled. See the ECMWF charts for the beginning of August.

It may be that the high is more to our west initially, bringing in a PM airmass, however the seas around the UK are very warm and this would modify any cool signals that a NW'ly airflow could bring (and it is high summer). My heads up for August is a mixed beginning, with a few good weeks emerging, becoming warmer again.

Fingers crossed! Thanks for tuning into Jason's Weather Window🌦🌤⛅️☀️

Good morning and happy Friday. Another very warm and humid day for all, hot in the South with temperatures into the thirties.

Most places will have decent sunny spells today, however, showers are clearing Scotland this morning and another batch of heavy, thundery showers may develop in places later, pushing north this evening. See predicted cloud cover and thunderstorm risk below.

Scotland should see the mid twenties again today, mid to high twenties are more widespread today, 32C is possible in the SE. Thirty degrees is indicated by the deep red colours on the map.

Today's indices: high or very high UV and moderate to high pollen.

It continues very warm this weekend, with sunshine and showers.

I hope that you have a great day, Jason's Weather Window☀️🌤🌦⚡️⛅️
