Hey all! Been a bit since my last post but I wanted to give an update about the channel and make a call to action. We are 7 followers away from the 50 follower goal! So if anyone who follows this page hasn't gone over to my twitch channel yet and given it a follow please do so, every little bit helps. Haven't been posting here in a bit, but I've been burning the midnight oil as it were streaming as often as I can. We're up to 27 followers and getting more views every week, so it's going really well. If anyone who is a follower of this page hasn't given a follow over on the twitch channel please consider heading over and doing that. Every little bit helps me get closer to being an affiliate and that means being able to accept subscriptions and donations to keep the work going. I stream a variety of content but mostly focused on Final Fantasy XIV and the RPG genre in general. If you're not yet a follower of either this page or the twitch channel please consider both. There is a Discord which is located in the about section of my twitch channel, so if you would like to help see this community grow head on over and throw a follow on the channel and consider joining the Discord.

In other news today I would normally stream Coral Island but I woke up a tad late but instead I may do some more FFXIV progression this time with my healer friend who hasn't done any of the content yet. The week ahead should look like this though:

Woke up today with the intent to start recording Night Cascades for the YouTube channel. However I'm not feeling that great and my throat has been a little iffy, going to take today to myself and record tomorrow. Oof! 2022 was not a good year for me as a creative individual. Stress, depression, and the 9-5 grind really sapped a lot out of me. Well that's about to be a thing of the past since the State decided not to continue funding the project contract I was working on, so as of Friday February 3, 2023 at 4:30PM PST I will no longer have a 9-5 job. The agency I work for is looking for similar work from home opportunities for me so that I can retain my insurance, but I'll likely have to be on unemployment for a bit. In the meantime I can use this time to get back to what I like and love.

To that end I invite everyone to join me once again over on twitch.tv/geekilyyours Friday evening at 6:00PM PST for some streaming fun. I'll be streaming for two hours and will likely play some Disgea PC and maybe something else. Hope to see you all there!
