🛠️ [Volume 2] What is ‘(un)Making’ STS Ethnographies? – Part 2

👤Edited by Tania Pérez-Bustos, Santiago Martinez Medina & Fredy Mora-Gámez

The conversation continues. This second installment deepens the exploration of how ethnography and STS co-constitute each other. The contributions highlight ethnography not just as a method, but as a practice that remakes concepts, sites, and relations.

🌏 [Volume 2] Latin American Replies to Lin and Law
👤Edited by Leandro Rodriguez Medina

How can South–South dialogues reshape STS?

In response to Wen-yuan Lin and John Law’s call to “provincialize STS,” three Latin American scholars engage with debates on globalization, epistemic asymmetries, and the values embedded in knowledge.

This exchange between Tapuya and EASTS opens new ground for an inter-peripheral agenda in science and technology studies.

[Volume 1]

Our inaugural volume set the tone for Tapuya’s commitment to pluralizing and expanding STS debates from and about Latin America.

Alongside two thematic clusters, Volume 1 featured original articles and literature reviews that broadened conversations on topics such as technoscientific imaginaries, postcolonial perspectives, and the politics of knowledge production.

These early contributions built the foundations for a journal attentive to place, power, and practice — a commitment that continues to guide us today as we revisit this archive.
