Open Letter to the World
— A Call for Peace Amid Global Unrest
To our brothers and sisters around the world,
We see the pain. We hear the anger. From Indonesia to India, from Nepal, and across the Philippines — we are witnessing frustration erupt into riots, fires, and violence. We know what it feels like to be betrayed by those who promised to serve the people. We know the heartbreak of corruption, injustice, and broken systems.
But today, we ask you — we beg you — to choose a different path.
Yes, we must demand justice. Yes, we must hold those in power accountable. But let us not forget that every act of violence only creates more wounds. When we burn structures, we burn our own future. When we hurt public officials — even those who wronged us — we take justice out of the courts and into the streets, where chaos rules.
Instead, let us unite in peace. Let us make our voices heard through lawful protest, through social media, through petitions, through collective action that builds rather than destroys. We have the power to expose corruption and demand reform without destroying lives or communities.
As it is written ; "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." – Romans 12:21
The world is watching. Let us show them that we are not just angry — we are wise. That we do not fight with fire, but with truth. That we seek not revenge, but real justice.
We owe it to ourselves, to the generations that come after us, and even to those who wronged us, to rise above hatred. Let us hold them accountable — but let us do so through law, through truth, through the power of a united and peaceful people.
Choose peace. Choose dignity. Choose a future we can all be proud of.
With hope and solidarity,
Jann M.
