Good morning and happy Wednesday.
Today is officially ONE month till I turn 51.
I have no issue with being a year older, aging is a gift. But I do have an issue with finding out that my skin is currently 5 years older than I am, thanks to the scan I had yesterday at
Lack of hydration (I’ve really been slacking on my water intake), an inconsistent skincare routine (life’s been busy), too much sun exposure and not enough reapplying of my SPF (I blame the long drives recently), lack of sleep (anxiety is not a good bedfellow) and shelving my self care to prioritise my family’s needs, has taken its toll.
But, the good thing is, with the right skincare, healthy eating habits that feed the skin, exercise that gets the blood pumping, an improved sleep routine and returning to my evening skincare routine that was both a dose of self care and a way to declimatise pre bedtime ,can have a very positive effect.
It’s about resetting consistent, healthy habits that aren’t negotiable and the results won’t only show in healthy, glowy skin but feeling lighter, brighter and more energetic.✨💪
This is my plan and I look forward to sharing the results with you on the 9th aka my BDay.
