Day 2 of the EDDE training in Bar 🇲🇪 wrapped up with fresh insights, hands-on teamwork, and plenty of creative momentum.

Today’s sessions explored Building Brand Affinity with a National Selfie 📸 and a plenary discussion on National Selfie and Reputational Security 🔍, offering participants new ways to think about how countries present themselves in the digital space.

The day also included a lecture on Policy Storytelling ✍️, and two highly interactive group exercises. Participants rolled up their sleeves and worked together to develop a National Selfie and to practice policy storytelling through concrete, actionable examples.

Across teams, innovative ideas emerged, good practices were exchanged, and the room was buzzing with collaboration, curiosity, and creativity 💡🤝✨

A strong finish to another inspiring day in Bar!

Day one of this year’s EDDE training wrapped up yesterday and the energy is still carrying us forward 🇲🇪

Participants explored the importance of Digital Public Affairs and Public Diplomacy, followed by a session on Citizens at the Centre that unpacked how democratic participation and engagement can be meaningfully supported in the digital era.

The day continued with a dynamic debate on building trust through strategic communications, where participants exchanged perspectives on what strengthens and what challenges public confidence today.

We concluded with an insightful dialogue with industry on Platforms, Publics & Policy, led by Oskar Braszczyński, Government & Social Impact Partner for Central & Eastern Europe at Meta. Oskar provided a valuable look at how major digital platforms approach issues like transparency, civic engagement tools, and cooperation with governments. His contribution helped spark an honest discussion about platform responsibility, public expectations, and the evolving role of tech companies in democratic ecosystems.

More learning, debates and hands-on sessions ahead!
