September was the absolute best! So much time spent with my favourite people, a wonderful birthday week, the arrival of autumn and filled with all of my favourite activities. Q4 is looking like it’s jam packed with more adventures and memories to be made (I’ll still never not divide the year into Q1,2,3 and 4, god bless that corporate life). Putting this together from my sun lounger feeling incredibly grateful and blessed for every little second spinning around that sun of ours.

Whilst I’m off chasing the sun here’s some stills of the most gorgeous autumn doorway of my dreams at home, you’ve got to leave your housesitters with something good haven’t you?! 🎃

I just love that this uses the same base that I’ve had all year which makes it really sustainable and I can’t wait to see it used once again for Christmas. I wanted autumn but not too spooky, classy but not too basis and full of all the orange that this season has to offer and nailed the brief!

Let me tell you about my weekend at home with my favourite things basking in the autumn low light
• Sirius
• My avocado plant grown from stone
• Aramanthus that I saved and dried
• Disco ball and associated sparkles
• Painted ceiling
• Mini monkey Christmas tree that I never expected to survive
• Positive prints
• Bay window giving all the light
• The squishiest chair
• Plants, plants, plants

Sometimes you just need a reset weekend, and it’s my last one in a few weeks so I’m gonna enjoy every second!

The Herald of Autumn 🧡

One of my favourite things about flowers is the way they mark seasonal changes and for me Chinese Lanterns are the absolute herald of autumn. They also dry unbelievably well so you get to enjoy them for months, I still have last years knocking around the house.

Thanks to for the doorstep drop awaiting me when I got back from Scotland.

What a weekend! Sometimes you don’t really have the words to sum up the positive impact being on these little squares have on you but this weekend was a bumper highlight. First winning Best First Time Home Renovation on Friday at the awards, which honestly means more after the last 12 months than I could ever express. So grateful to for putting such on a wonderful event and for the opportunity to catch up with some of my favourite people on the gram as well as meeting so many new faces.

Secondly a trip up to Dunfermline for and getting to discuss all things Dopamine Decor with my gorgeous friend who co-organised this gorgeous event. Another wonderful opportunity to meet some of the people behind the homes I adore on this platform and also to listen to some wonderfully inspiring and creative discussions.

Feeling bless at the connections and opportunities that my little corner of the internet manages to nurture and create 🩷
