What a year! So, here's what's happened! 👇
• Amanda Phelan (Insomniac Events) joined us for a showcase of incredible music where she selected FOUR artists to perform at Vans Warped Tour.
• Jim Riley of The Ghost Inside, a huge name in rock/metal currently signed to Epitaph Records reached out to have UK-based hardcore band HELL CAN WAIT support them (TGI) on their run of UK stadiums supporting Bad Omens, after he'd discovered them on our platform.
• We were joined by some of the biggest names in the PR, management and booking worlds, including the founders/owners/leaders of Atom Splitter PR, Dynamic Talent International, Capital Artist Group, Big Picture Media, The Noise Cartel, The Feldman Agency, The Familie and more.
• We picked up direct support and backing behind the scenes from Kevin Lyman, Trevor Swenson, Rishi Bahl and other major industry figureheads.
• We teamed up with our friends EVR FWD, with their YouTube channel of over 185K+ subscribers, to further shine a light on artists/bands that we believed in passing through our ecosystem.
• We joined forces with hmv/hmv, a nationally and culturally important brand to the United Kingdom, collaborating in their 'Live & Local' scheme, to take artists from the on-screen features on BSB to their stores and stages.
• We launched BSB TV+, our flagship 24/7 Music TV/Media channel, broadcasting directly from our website, rotating the best new artists in the rock/metal/alt/punk/emo sphere, alongside industry-relevant ads.
• We ran ticket giveaways for a number of festivals, including the exclusive Radar Festival, ensuring that several lucky winners got the opportunity to experience their acts/entertainment, completely free of charge.
• We partnered up with Workshop Management, home to Mayday Parade, Anberlin, Acceptance and more.
• We partnered with Four Chord Music, home of the internationally acclaimed Four Chord Music Festival (lineups include Blink-182, Alkaline Trio, A Day To Remember and many others).
• Elliot Minor had Homecoming UK support them on their sold-out nationwide tour after frontman Alex Davies discovered them on our platform.
• Hosted our first A & R showcases with Hopeless Records, Contend Management, Idobi Radio, Blinding Talent, LAUNCH, Sad Summer Festival, Rock AM Ring, Radar Festival, Vans Warped Tour and more.
• Featured a number of legacy acts/musicians including Elliot Minor, Madina Lake, We Are The Ocean, Fountains Of Wayne, Wheatus, Ryan Cabrera, Letlive, Amber Pacific, State Champs and more.
