ချစ်ခင်ရပါသော ဗိုလ်ကြီး ဟား ခင်၊
၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်၊ ဖေဖော်ဝါရီလ ၂၅ ရက်နေ့တွင် သင့်အား အသက် ၁၀၀ ပြည့်မြောက်သည့် ပျော်ရွှင်ဖွယ်သတင်းကို ကြားသိရသည့်အတွက် အလွန်ဝမ်းမြောက်ဝမ်းသာပါသည်။ ဤကဲ့သို့သော အံ့ဩဖွယ်ရာ မှတ်တိုင်ကြီးကို ရောက်ရှိခဲ့သည်မှာ လုံးဝထူးခြားလှပေသည်။
သင့်အား ဒုတိယကမ္ဘာစစ်ကာလအတွင်း ဗမာကြယ်စင်တံဆိပ်ရ စစ်မှုထမ်းဟောင်းတစ်ဦးအဖြစ် သိရှိရပါသည်။ အသက် ၁၇ နှစ်အရွယ်တွင် ချင်းလက်နက်ကိုင်တပ်ဖွဲ့ (Chin Levies) သို့ ဝင်ရောက်အမှုထမ်းခဲ့ပြီး၊ မဟာမိတ်တပ်များ အိန္ဒိယသို့ ဆုတ်ခွာပြီးနောက် သင့်ဇာတိဖြစ်သော ချင်းပြည်နယ်၊ ဖလမ်းမြို့နယ်ရှိ လွမ်တဲကျေးရွာသို့ ပြန်လည်ရောက်ရှိခဲ့သည်။ ထို့နောက် မဟာမိတ်တပ်များ ပြန်လည်စုစည်းလာချိန်တွင် ပထမ ချင်းရိုင်ဖယ်တပ်ရင်း (1st Chin Rifles) အဖြစ် ပြန်လည်ဝင်ရောက်အမှုထမ်းခဲ့သည်ဟု သိရပါသည်။ ဤထူးခြားသောမွေးနေ့အခါသမယတွင် လွတ်လပ်မှုကို ခြိမ်းခြောက်လာသူများအား အောင်ပွဲခံရန် သင်၏အနစ်နာခံမှုနှင့် စွန်းစားလှုပ်ရှားမှုများအတွက် ကျေးဇူးတင်ရှိပါသည်။
Royal Commonwealth Ex-Services League မှ လူကြီးမင်းအပါအဝင် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အားလုံးကိုယ်စား၊ Help 4 Forgotten Allies အဖွဲ့နှင့်ပူးပေါင်း၍ သင့်အား နှစ်ပေါင်းများစွာ ကူညီပံ့ပိုးခွင့်ရခဲ့သည်မှာ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ဂုဏ်ယူဝမ်းမြောက်ဖွယ်ရာပင် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ သင်၏ဘဝခရီးတွင် ဤထက်မက ပျော်ရွှင်ဖွယ်ရာ မွေးနေ့များစွာ ဆက်လက်ရှင်သန်နိုင်ပါစေကြောင်း ဆုတောင်းမေတ္တာပို့သအပ်ပါသည်။

None but those who fought in the Burma Campaign will know the extraordinary human, mental, physical, environmental, logistical, cultural and military challenges you faced.
We do know this: the life we enjoy now has always and will always be preserved by young people marching towards danger to stand in harms' way for us and the values we hold dear as a nation.

Dear Corporal Herh,
It is with great delight that we have been informed of the wonderful news that you reached the age of 100 years on 25th February 2025; what a simply amazing milestone.
As I understand it you are a veteran of World War II and a recipient of the Burma Star service medal, having served initially in the Chin Levies, joining up at the age of 17. After the Allied retreat to India, you returned to your village of Lumte in Falam Township, Chin State and subsequently re-enlisted when the Allied forces returned, joining the newly formed 1st Chin Rifles. Can I take this opportunity, on this special birthday, to thank you for your service and personal contribution to victory over those who sought to take our freedom.
On behalf of everyone at the Royal Commonwealth Ex-Services League can I also say it has been our privilege, working in partnership with Help 4 Forgotten Allies, to be able to support you for so many years. We trust you will celebrate many more happy birthdays in the future.
