This is one of Lesotho's finest musicians, upon seeing the competition, I got on my feet and tried to make something quite simple but elegant and informative, like the tittle says "Bula" it opened my mind to so many possibilities that I ended wanting to hear the song before the graphic.
I looked at the snaps he took, looked at what I already knew and tried to find the meaning of the shots in comparison to the tittle "Bula".
So I tried to get into his mind or put myself in his shoes, knowing his creativity and word play, "Bula" needs a witty graphic.
So I analyzed thus from the shots he took for the cover:
1. Goats (Greats) : He is great at what he does and is keeping us all on our toes and surely "Bula" is a hit. Some shots depict him and Nthabi in fenced kraal, can this signify being similarly GREAT like any international artist, kannete it got me thinking, bulela Ntate Stunna and hear great things.
2. Cars (Power/Reach): Cars show the measure of wealth these days and knowing his lyrics, maybe it empowerment of the youth phela re rata likoloi, if you got a car you can go around the world no hassle, youth empowerment moo proof ke cover art tse ntse reli etsa. Le batho bano ba tlo tantsa are empowered too.
3. Family and the dishing Up scene: Trough the shots you can see his team doing it's thing, maybe that means they all there to eat. Bula pelo, mahlo Le kellelo mme otla ea hole.
4. Judging by the shots it's clear they shooting a music video, one that is surely a banger.
Abuty Bula Buti. Bula Spotify, Bula Youtube, bula X Ntate Stunna Le Nthabi Sings ba o hlabolle.
Looking at those pictures, the shots were great and didn't need much editing, I like them raw with minimum edition.
"Bula" ke vula masango that I'm sure of it✍🏿
