Same me — just a little bolder ⚡️

I’ve been quietly working behind the scenes… with sticky notes on walls, late night creative spikes, and that nagging feeling I couldn’t shake — the one that said, it’s time.

Time to step forward. To shape Ayo Creative into something that feels aligned with where it’s been — and where it’s going. This new look is more than a logo. It’s a shift, a beginning, and a reflection of the values that carry me - authenticity, connection, creativity - and the energy I want to bring into what’s next - let’s say a bit bold and a lot intentional 💛

Boesmankloof adventures.
Snapshots of a little (but not so little) mountain mission with 💛
Breathtaking landscapes. Some waterfall swims. Jumping from rocks. Decent uphills 😅 … Lots of quiet moments. And lots of laughters. A tiny cabin. And a wowzeez sunrise 🐒
Also some good end of summer heat. questioning life decisions moments. And a few minutes when we weren’t sure where we were gonna sleep 🤣 but that all makes it more fun 😛

Colors of autumn.
Nature’s always been a place of inspiration - where I feel most creative. Nothing’s ever still, the light plays around, colors change by the minute … and I kinda love that. It pushes me to stay present, stay playful, and give me a space to express and create with no boundaries 💛
Shot this with and had the best time. Can’t wait to do it again when you’re back! 📸✨

Food Photography 🍴📸

If you know me well, you know I’m always juggling a thousand things at once.
Some call it chaos — I call it flow 🐒

I get about ten new work ideas a day, because who said we shouldn’t. I obsess on running, but would never say no to breakfast in the mountain, chasing waves, lift some weight, or try to break another foot climbing walls.

And when it comes to creativity 💛, it has never asked me to choose — and that’s the beauty of it.I live for editorial shoots — bold, styled, intentional and storytelling is another kind of magic. But I also crave the wild: adventure travel, messy stories, real moments captured on the go.

So, it might not be surprising that I’ve fallen for food photography too. Here are some random shots (no particular order), just a little taste of this new chapter. Expect more showing up here soon!

*And yes — I’ll do it all in sneakers… but let’s be honest, high heels will always have a place in my heart.

It’s more than just running | 2024 scenes.
I would lie if I’d say I didn’t have fomo (for another year). But there are many ways to be part of a race, and cheering along the way is definitely one of the best ♥️
It’s a reminder than sports is so much more than a time or a score. It’s all about the people you share it with. About the smiles, the cheers, the support, the raw human connections. The sweat and wins shared along the way. The nerves and excitement. The find-yourself time and the limits pushed. It’s these moments when your phone is somewhere far away, and it’s here and now.
Walking around cheering with a 📸, I got to see this. I got myself to capture less running and more being. And I hope these few pictures will give a glimpse of what I mean.
PS - but next year I am running this. I am calling it

Nature has a beautiful way to remind us how small we are… and I love it for that 🧡
There is something about this place that I can never fully grasp, and that’s what makes it beautiful to me. I would think that after countless runs, sunsets and drives along, I will “get used to it”. Yet I am not, and I don’t hate it !!

Landed on the moon 🔥
Raw shots - because this place is that special. Almost a month ago, took me to the Wolfberg Arch, and as high as my expectations were, it didn’t disappoint.
After going through the cracks with the wide eyes and excitement of a kid in a candy shop, we ran the plateau and got to the Arch. I lost words - which is for me a big statement 😅

Thank you for taking the kiddo in me for such a special morning.

PS - also me putting out there to hold me accountable for actually putting a video together.

“The sun watches what I do, but the moon knows all my secrets.” M Wonderland.
It was the brightest moon of the year. I wasn’t even planning to get it on camera .. But in true fashion, things didn’t go as planned.
Not me, camera in hand, with the risk assessment of a 2-year old - stepping along the railway to get the shot… until the railway boomers drop and I had to run 😅 But hey… we got the shots ! Worth it ?
