The Story Behind These Emo Girls
Mary Walton and Logan Staab have been best friends since they first met in 2013 during a chapter retreat with their sorority. While they originally bonded over their love of One Direction, they quickly realized they had a lot more in common.
They were able to connect over a wide range of music genres and artists, the most prominent one being those that fell under the emo/alternative/pop punk umbrella. Once they started going to shows together, they knew that they were going to be concert buddies and friends for life.
When it was brought up to start a podcast, the decision was easy. “We have these conversations anyways so why not just record them and see what happens” was the mindset they both had when starting on this podcasting journey. There is a long way to go and so many things they would like to accomplish using this platform so sit back and enjoy the rockin’ ride!
