They were filled with screams, tears, and pain. When he was gone, the house felt lighter and peaceful, those were only night Mo’Nae slept. On the outside looking in Mo’Nae was living the perfect life, loving parents, a big, beautiful home with a big yard to match. She was always in the newest apparel. She had to be the picture-perfect girl when she went outside. While growing up Mo’Nae was always the girl in the corner at the back of the room. Plotting on her next move, trying to figure out how she was going to get away. In high school she was well-liked by many but hated by most. She served as the treasurer all four years of high school. Mo’Nae was never a sport playing type BUT she was the partying type. She was on the event planning committee. Hoping one day to plan elaborate events for a living that will take her away from her nightmares that nobody ever saw. On the death bed of her grandmother, Mo'Nae was informed she was adopted and that was the day her whole world crumbled. She wondered who she really was, and if her birth parents ever missed her. Did anyone in her REAL family know where she was? Mo'Nae went to her adoptive mother to confront her about what she was just told. That is when her adoptive parents told her about her biological parents. Mo'nae's mother was a young drug addicted striper, and her father was listed as unknown on her paperwork. That night, the fight that would end all fights began.
