ÁDHAMH : CASUAL SHIFTS : 01.08.2025

Ádhamh makes his FES debut with ‘Causal Shifts’, a new 7 track release that examines the intersection of probability and creativity.
In September 2024, Ádhamh was commissioned to compose a new collection of sound-works (‘Poll na bPéist: A Symphony of Scattered Electrons’) for the ‘Earth Rising’ festival at IMMA. Having created an extensive library of sounds as a result of this commission, Ádhamh now returns to extrapolate these sounds out even further. Using a number of custom-built generative effects processing set-ups to warp and transform old ideas into new, ‘Causal Shifts’ features 7 Hiberno-futurist extractions that shift between atonality, dissonance and limit-testing rhythms.

DECAL : THE ECHOES ARE DECOYS : 21.02.2025

After hitting us with the recent batch of incredible releases as Of One, Alan O’Boyle has returned with the first new music from the globally lauded Decal in almost two decades. Hailed as the apex of Irish Electro and Techno arenas and often verging into the experimental, the original lineup included artist Dennis McNulty. Now a solo endeavour, O’Boyle slams back onto the dance floor with a 13 track album called ‘The Echoes Are Decoys’.

Ultimately showcasing a barrage of classic Decal tropes from ‘Freekin Failures’, blissful and banging, to the slow, moody and gothic church organ style of ‘A Very Simple Cure’, ‘The Echoes Are Decoys’ ranges everywhere from softly distorted melodic electro like the Kraftwerkian ‘Coast II’, to synth-pop such as the catchy anthemic riffs of In ‘The Absense Of Sense’, through the Detroit-esque rousing techno of ‘Kill This Space’.

Having released on labels such as Sabrettes, Planet-mu and Rotters Golf Club, we feel very privileged to be putting out this latest Decal album. It’s safe to say the electro world has been looking forward to this one for some time, and won’t be disappointed.
