The American Heart Association is committed to improving heart health for women in every community by driving equitable health, groundbreaking research, and life-saving education. With your support of the AHA today , we can make a lasting impact and change the future of women’s heart health.

Women are less likely to receive bystander CPR than men. Let that sink in. But there is good news – we can change this. As a nominee, I learned Hands Only CPR so that I can make my home and my community a safer place and be prepared to help if someone needs it.

Dear friends,
Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the US, but it often presents and behaves differently in women. Support the America Heart Association in their efforts to educate, screen, and teach CPR.

Take time to listen to shows #234 and #235 (www.yourradiodoctor.net) to hear two incredible stories - one woman was saved when her husband performed CPR and the other was a 4-week-old baby whose father performed CPR with his thumbs.
