I shall either find a way or make one. This resonates with me deeply because it’s something I’ve said in one form or another at various points in my life. It reminds me that I’m a fighter—I will not go quietly into that good night without making a sound or putting up a fight. And I do this not only for myself, but for those who are unable to stand up for themselves. I am a product of my faith and the energy that encompasses the universe. My faith plays a huge role in everything I say and do.

This determination has been with me for as long as I can remember, guiding me through whatever challenges come my way. It’s not just about me—it’s about creating ripples for those who need strength. The energy and resilience I draw from my beliefs fuel me, empowering me to stand strong and help others along the way. That’s what drives me, and it’s how I live every day.

It's only when you don't allow people to walk all over you that the narrative changes. They'll paint you as the villain in their story, since you won't be giving them what they have had no problem stealing from you. There will at least be freedom in your story.

Courtney Johnston's recent TV ad was a breath of fresh air. As an undecided voter, I found her authenticity and straightforwardness incredibly refreshing. As an author of children's books and literature addressing sexual violence, I was deeply moved by her message.

Like many Tennesseans, I am fed up with the current state of affairs and the dishonesty we often see in politics. Courtney’s honest and bright approach is precisely what we need to bring about positive change. Despite her conservative stance, she has made me rethink the Republican party and what it can offer.

With a BA in Communications, an MA in Journalism, and a Ph.D. in Divinity (Honorary), received when I became an ordained minister, I see the intellectual rigor and compassionate leadership Courtney brings. Currently working on my second Ph.D., my first academic Ph.D. in Public Administration, and completing coursework at Pivot Technology School in Nashville, I am confident in Courtney's ability to lead and inspire change.

Let's rally behind Courtney Johnston and support the new perspective she brings to our state's leadership!
