Tonight, I share something incredibly close to our hearts. Paris, my 10-year-old daughter with a voice full of dreams and a heart bigger than the sky, has been singing her soul out to the songs of Cynthia Erivo from the Wicked movie.
From the moment she saw the Wicked movie and Cynthia, something lit up in her. A light. A connection. A reflection of the kind of artist and leader she hopes to become. She’s watched every performance, memorized every word, and poured her heart into these two songs… not for applause, but because she feels them deeply.
To Paris, green isn’t just a color, it’s magic. It’s bravery. It’s a symbol of her belief that being different is a gift and that her voice and her story matters.
So tonight, with tears in my eyes and pride in my soul, I share these performances in honor of her hero, Cynthia Erivo, and every child with a dream that feels just out of reach, but not impossible.
