- Added Freeroam game mode shard (Freeroam/6) with many features of discontinued Freeroam server, as well as new features.
-- Press F1 for Freeroam menu.
-- Press F3 for teleport map, bookmarks and dimension switching (VIP Members can set custom bookmarks).
-- Press F5 to heal, restore armour or repair vehicle (30-second cooldowns apply to healing and armour).
-- Press F7 to cycle AI spawn mode (none, zombies or gangsters).
-- Press J to toggle jetpack while on foot, or to toggle vehicle lock while in vehicle.
-- Press K while in vehicle for Handling Editor.
-- All players can switch between dimensions 0 and 1; VIP Members can switch to any dimension within shard 6. Odd-numbered dimensions have PvP damage disabled.
-- VIP Members can toggle Superman flying mode (previously an admin-only feature) with /SUPERMAN. Double-jump to take off.
-- Fast, on-demand downloads (game mode is downloaded when entering shard 6 for the first time).
- Added Roleplay game mode placeholder shard (Roleplay/5). Can only be used to buy skins and clothing at present. New roleplay game mode will be built into shard over time.
- Added appearance menu (press F6), many skins including CJ, and CJ clothing, based on system from discontinued WyeSoft Battlegrounds server. Purchased skins can be used by all players in lobby, Freeroam and Roleplay shards (excluding certain VIP-only skins). VIP Members can still use any skin in DayZ shards. Purchased clothes can be used by all players in lobby, Freeroam and Roleplay shards, and by VIP Members in DayZ shards.
- Added second demolition derby area at Hunter Quarry, accessible via central exit in Bloodbowl Stadium. Demolition derby events are now linked to a specific derby area.
- Added insertion points near Big Smoke, Commander and MC President DayZ boss spawns.
- DayZ/4 now resets on the 1st of January, April, July and October. This includes tents, vehicles, items, base locations, etc. Unspent shop points are automatically transferred to Roleplay/5, to be spent on skins and clothing. VIP Upgrades are not reset. Shard will be inaccessible for a full day before each reset, to ensure that it is cleaned properly.
- DayZ/0 is now the AM/PM Switched shard instead of DayZ/4.
We have a bug bounty in effect. The first person to report any bug that allows Freeroam elements (such as vehicle spawning) to leak through into DayZ will earn 100 SP. Bugs that allow players to use skins or clothes they shouldn't have access to are worth 50 SP. Other new bugs will be considered.
