H.E. Yeo Seung-bae, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Malaysia, attended the closing ceremony of the Korean language course for immigration officers at the Korean Education Center on Thursday, July 31.

In his remarks, the Ambassador highlighted the importance of the event, noting that it comes at a time when Korea-Malaysia relations are entering a new phase.

He added that immigration officers who have learned Korean will play an important role in improving Malaysia’s image and perception as the number of Korean tourists visiting Malaysia is expected to increase.

The Korean Education Center offered a 10-week beginner Korean course for immigration officers starting in late April this year, and a total of 21 participants completed the program.
