In the broken wasteland, a group of lone wanderers gather to celebrate the opening of the old Bomb Shelter and discuss terms of the wasteland truce. Will the survivors of Little Shanty get along with the inhabitants of the Bomb Shelter, or will the City Ruin Raiders wreck their plans before the Crater Creatures come to kill them all? Desperate hopes, delicate alliances and intricate relationships face the furious fun of the apocalypse in the larp that ends before the radiation sets in. Soon it will be time to...

For more than five years Omen Star has made TavernQuest larps. Starting with Meet at the Tavern, these adventures took our players into dungeons, guild houses, palaces, galleons, graveyards, spaces stations, shires, shipwrecks and even a midwinter feast. But rumours persist of another quest, another place where people assemble, another larp that ends before the adventure begins. Now after years in development in top secret laboratories the waiting has come to an end.

This august, the legends begin again.

Exciting times, Heroes! Tomorrow we close sign ups for the 2026 Run of Valour Manor. Join us as we explore a dystopian, satirical hero academy, where freaks try to become heroes in a capitalist corporate hellscape defined by performative activism and cut throat cynicism.

After the extraordinary success of Valour Manor we will be running Valour Manor again at Ingestre Hall in Stafford, England on 28th to 31st May 2026. Tickets from £400 with concessions available.

We will return to the Valour Manor Superhuman Training Academy where The Brigade™ led by the legendary Lionheart™ help the desperate and dangerous superhumans of Britain become licenced and functioning members of society. Everyone is given an opportunity to improve the stability of their superpowers in our fully functioning Laboratory suite, while being trained by the best in the business.

With themes of systemic oppression, found family and community resilience in the face of pyrrhic victories and performative activism Valour Manor uses a carefully constructed superhuman Britain inspired by the X Men and The Boys to critique comic and fantasy tropes, late stage capitalism and performative activism.

You will play characters inspired by comic heroes and villains, brought down to earth and given a gritty British treatment. Superpowers are definitively superhuman, but not completely physics breaking and come at a great cost. The focus of the larp is the relationships between the characters trying to survive in a world where they are hated.

.. THE SMOKE CALL FOR LARPS 10 DAYS LEFT ..

There are TEN DAYS LEFT to submit a larp to Smoke! Huge love to everyone who has already submitted their larps for this wonderful community event.

This will allow us to prepare a program for participants to the Smoke Festival in January 2026 with plenty of time to make any changes without anyone needing to stress!

We will be reaching out to everyone who has previously submitted to the Smoke to see if you are interested in bringing something new to the Smoke. We also have a number of larps that are looking for larp runners if you are interested in running a larp but do not have a larp to run.

We only need practical information about the larp so that it can be timetabled at this stage. A brief description, the name of the larp and the number of participants plus a few other specific bits of information. We will ask for the full description when we are putting together the program.

Step into the swinging 60s in 2026!
Our friend Warren Merrifield is bringing you To have and to hold, a thrilling 1960s gangster larp set in the UK. There will be backroom deals and tensions between rival gangs while celebs, sharply dressed gangsters and corrupt coppers on the take all mix at a high-stakes wedding meant to secure an alliance between two of the city’s most powerful crime families.

It will be vibrant, have iconic music and characters with sharp attitudes.

Hello again, Sunshine!

We are sending out a call for interest for an ALL NEW Cyberpunk London 2025
We received a lot of feedback and have listened very carefully to what people said. We are keeping all of the elements that people loved, removing the parts people did not love and adding more content to the larp that people would love to see.

NEW SETTING
We love the R. Talsorian Setting, but many of our participants found it too restrictive to use just one setting, so we will open up our unique Cyberpunk London setting to be inspired by a broader range of Cyberpunk Fiction. It will still draw inspiration from Cyberpunk and Edgerunners but will now also include inspirations from Altered Carbon, Bladerunner, Strange Days and the works of Pat Cadigan, William Gibson, Bruce Sterling and many more.

NEW CHARACTERS
There will be new characters with more interpersonal drama, more ways to interact with the world and several dramatic plot arcs taking place throughout the event. We have twenty groups for you to choose from and over a hundred characters. We are sure there will be someone you will like, and once you have the character you can play them in the way that you enjoy.

NEW VENUE
We will also be using a whole new venue. While we enjoyed working with the Underworld we feel it is time to move on to a different venue. It will still be in the heart of London, be fully DDA compliant and allow us more access to the venue before and after the larp to make sure the event runs more smoothly.

We will send out a call for interest to see how many people would like to join us on this remarkable journey. Fill in the form and return it to us by the 24th January 2025 and we will once again bring Cyberpunk to the mean streets of London.
