The Game Commission will be conducting a 173 acre prescribed fire on Trexler Nature Preserve in Lowhill and North Whitehall Townships, Lehigh County on 3/25/24. The prescribed fire will be occurring south of Trexler and Mill Roads and to the west of Game Preserve Rd. The burn is being conducted to maintain native grassland habitat by reducing competition from invasive shrubs such as autumn olive. Smoke will be visible on the preserve near Diebertsville, Schnecksville, Bittners Corner, and Weidasville between 9:30 AM and 7:30 PM.
