An action packed weekend is about to happen for in both the UK and USA.

On Saturday (across timezones) we're at Dirt In The Gate Movies's in Dorset, UK and then H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival and CthulhuCon's Portland, OR, USA event (closing off our amazing double bill screening with them which began in Providence, RI).

Amazing festivals supporting independent cinema! Thank you both. Our Spanish premiere will be announced tomorrow and it's a good one... Watch this space!

starts its journey with H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival and CthulhuCon this weekend in Providence, Rhode Island, USA. The festival is doing a double bill screening of the film at both their flagship festivals (Providence, RI & Portland, OR).

We're honoured to be back after our first time in 2019 with . What's more it's an even greater honour to collectively be a part of the 3 festivals that the organisers put on each year - Portland Horror Festival & HP Lovecraft Film Festival. This means we've achieved the sacred Eldritch Trinity.

now hits the road with the legendary The Independent Horror Society! Our first screening at the Genesis Cinema in June brought the film back to London town, and now it heads to new cities across the UK with a possibility of more dates being added (Birmingham stand by for further details).

We’re excited for the film to be in front of more hearts and minds as people begin to dive into our puzzling cosmic horror. Renowned horror director Prano Bailey Bond has said the Birdwatcher is ‘a unique and puzzling watch’ that ‘blurs the line between folk horror and sci-fi’. What do you think? Furthermore, The Birdwatcher continues to set the tone for Myskatonic as the company works towards our dark and rich first block of feature films and TV (all currently in development).

Further European premieres of the film have also been confirmed for early Autumn so watch this space for more information!

A great honour to be included in the CenterFrame Club long list at the tail end of a busy week!

The Birdwatcher has made the long list for CenterFrame Club, curated by the director legend known as Prano Bailey-Bond. Great to make the cut, thank you Prano! Center Frame announced the list with the following statement:

"We're thrilled to unveil the 20 incredible short films that have made it to the CenterFrame Selects Longlist – a celebration of bold vision, fresh voices, and powerful storytelling.
Huge congratulations to all the talented filmmakers who made the cut!"

Apart from that it's been a very busy week for the film... It screened at OffBeat Film Film Festival on Tuesday, which I was lucky enough to attend! Then the US premiere happened last night at Chicago Horror Film Festival, followed by a screening this morning at Glowflare Horror Festival in Yorkshire, UK.

It's an incredible feeling to know our weird tale is out in the wild stirring some feelings. Next up is Celtic Media Festival in June in Newquay, Cornwall, UK. Then later in the month the Scandinavian premiere happens at Ravenheart International Film Festival.
