To make things interesting, the scrim will be fought in Waseda style, where each player plays until they lose a set. A “set” consists of a player from Team A playing against a player from Team B in a best-of-3 series. Once one player loses (e.g., Player 1 Team B), the losing player’s teammate (e.g., Player 2 Team B) rotates in to play a set against the opposing team. A team wins the match when they’ve defeated all three players on the opposing team.
