I’m not calling it RETIREMENT (Never say never and all that!)… But I am taking a break from radio at the end of July.
25 years of stupid o’clock starts means I am owed a lay in or two.

It’s been a great ride, working with some amazing people and getting to live out a childhood dream - I honestly never expected to achieve half of the stuff I’ve been able to do.

So my last show at BFBS will be breakfast on Friday 18 July… then 😴 😴 😴 💤

This is one of my favourite things I have done during my time here at BFBS.
In the run up to the 80th anniversary of VE Day I spoke with stand-up legend, and sometime military historian, Al Murray about the end of the Second World War and a military honour that has been bestowed on him.
